I know you don't want harassed about the tangs but obviously you know you should not have them in there if you are worried about people harassing you about it. Other than the tangs looks like you have a good start to a nice reef.

Looks neat. Wait till growth happens on your specimen. That will be nice.
What type of lighting do you have? How are your waterflow thingies? What type of filtration do you have? Based on how your landscape look like, it appears that you are intentionally keeping them about half way the height of your tank. Are you aiming for a more lush and tall specimen to cover the other half of that? Also, you might want to create some form of rockwork on your existing lrs to provide some type of sizeable crevices for your tangs. Man, watch out, those are a lot of tangs. My favorite of the tangs you have is the Sailfin. Is the other one a Kole Tang or a Chevron Tang of some sort? You look like you have a fascination to Tangs. |

I have a sailfin and a Scopas there both smaller then they apear in the pictures.
I use a 150w 20k pendant, Filtration is 70lbs live rock and 40lbs sand. Protein skimmer tonight after i get a new pump. I have 2 powerheads and a ac300 with Cheoto for flow. a sqwd on a 600g/hr pump. you can't really tell from the pictures but there are alot crevices for the tangs to swim in and out off. They happy and swimming in and out of the LR all day. There not stressed and enjoy there little home. If they get to big believe me they be sold or traded for smaller ones again. I love Tangs and don't have the money for a 400g+ sized tank so i'll keep small ones till thye out grow then get new small ones. |
