Reef Tank - What Other Fish Can I Add?
Hi folks,
I have a 54g reef tank with 100lbs of live rock and a 3" sand bed. Along with a clean-up crew, I have 3 blue/green Chromis Damsels and 2 Percula in the tank. I'd like to add a few more fish, but not certain what to get, and how many fish overall my tank can hold. The tank has a mix of SPS and LPS coral, heavy on the SPS. Thanks! L3

A dwarf angel (like a Flame angel) would add a lot of color and would be good in a 54.
If you got one of those, then maybe you could get a colorful goby or a wrasse. Maybe 2 Purple Firefish, those have some awesome color, or just regular firefish for that matter have good color too. I would say you could probably add 3 more fish depending on size.

Fridmani Pseudochromis (Orchid Dottyback). Vivid/bright purple. Peaceful. Easy care.
Banggai Cardinal (aquacultured/tank-bred only). We only have a couple of weeks experience with them. Cool fish. Both get along well with our Blue Reef Chromis and Percs (mated pair). They don't disturb our corals, either.

Midas or bicolor blenny would be a good choice. Any of the dwarf angels (bicolor, lemonpeel, flame, coral beauty, etc) would be a nice centerpiece fish, although they may nip at clams or fleshy LPS.
