Question Clown Goby not eating......

I have had a yellow clown goby in my tank for a week now, and I have not seen him eat at all. I looked him up at Liveaquaria.com before I bought him, and understood him to be an easy fish to take care with no real problems to look forward to as far as eating goes. He has tons of places in my tank to perch and hide in (LR), but he spends most of his time on the outskirts of the tank, perching along the glass.

Every other fish in my tank has adapted very well and started to eat within a day or 2, even my baby blue hippo tang which really suprised me.

Is there something I could feed him to get him started? At the moment this is what I have for feeding. I feed these on a rotating basis:

Day one: Frozen brine, frozen Angelfish food with sponge (By I think Hikari, but not certain), and fresh nori (seaweed)

Day 2: slow sinking pellets and zooplankton.

Day 3: repeat day one

Day 4: repeat day 2, etc.

All of the fish I have seem to go nuts for just about everything I put in there except for the goby. What should I do? Is there anything you recommend?

Here is a pic of the little guy:

Have you tried cyclopeeze? My ycg ate from the first day I put him in. Mine will eat anything I put in the tank.

try garlic drops on the frozen food. My orange diamond goby ate during feeding (mysis) for the 1st time today since getting him 3 weeks ago. So far he has just sifted sand.

What is with garlic and saltwater fish? Is it like cocaine for them or something. I hear about garlic often as being the cure to get a fish to eat. What about the garlic attracks the fish to eat. I have stayed away from it so far because I don't think it's natural, but then again, pellets aren't very natural either I guess.

From what I understand it just attracts fish to the food (why I don't know). Kina makes sense. It attracts me to pasta

I also hear that it has some magical properties to help prevent disease. My fish seem to like it so I continue to use it.

That doesn't look like a yellow clown goby to me. Yellow clown gobies are solid yellow. I think maybe that is a citron goby. Maybe that will help you find information on feeding him, though I would think its diet would be pretty much the same.

Anyhow, he does look skinny. Best of luck to you.

My apologies. He is a Citrinis Clown Goby. All other info about him was correct though. He's supposed to be an easy fish to care for, and should do well eating frozen brine shrimp.
