water surges, whos running one?
Just wondering if you can meke one run with out bubbles going into the tank?
Any info on the subject appreciated. |

From what I've seen they all usually make quite a bit of bubbles. They usually work by either creating a siphon or by using a toilet float. As the water starts coming out you get air.
There are ways of making a bubble free surge, but that requires using electronic valves and float switches. As the water fills the reservoir it will trip a float switch that opens the output (electric valve). The water quickly rushes out until the water level reaches another float switch which shuts of the valve. It's not even as simple as it sounds unless you’re familiar with ‘electronics'. The toilet flapper is common because it doesn't take much to know. The water fills and the toilet flapper opens ... and repeats the action when the water fills back up.
