question on Phyto dosing, calcium reactor and wich fish to choose
Hello,
Catching up with your thread... Whats the working around that big phyto Jar. Do you have an automatic dosing of it to your tank.. how do you do it? I see 2 tube going into your jar.. Also I'm planning to add fishes to my reef/fish tank. What sort of fish would you add to an 100 gallon tank. I presently have 1 SPS I dont know the name yet, 1 Hammer coral, and a goniopora. Planning to add some more coral as I figure out the fine tuning of the calcium reactor. My PH drops too fast when the CO2 is active. I set the Aquacontroller to shut the CO2 at PH 7.99. The CO2 stop feeding the reactor under PH7.99 hence not letting the calcium reactor disolve calcium to the tank. Do you have a tip for adjusting the Calcium reactor.. will it ever feed enough the tank and its habitant. I have an Korallin 1502. I'm trying to slow effluent and bubble count to the point the PH stays stable as evrything (CO2/effluent) runs. Up to now....What a challenge! Your RO/DI works like a charm. It was one of my first and best buy. It delivers 100 gallon or so per day without a sweat. I hook it up to a bucket with a solinoid valve that open and closes automaticly as the water in the bucket lowers. The sump is feed with water from a Tunze auto top-off that feed from that bucket. Full proof automatic solution. Thanks Dave Last edited by lestat737; 02/07/2007 at 09:35 PM. |
