Aptasia Stop

Has anyone used that Aptasia Stop product? I finally got a syringe to use it today, however the syringe was way too small (i think it says to use a #18 syringe....this one was like tiny lol).

So what i did was just take the syringe off and sucked up the Aptasia stop...then i pushed the opening of the syringe up against the aptasias and basically smothered them in the liquid....is this ok? They all retracted (prolly from being hit tho) and the liquid did stick to them. Will it work or do i need a needle to do it?

im working on doing this also, from what ive read you need to not touch it and squirt the stuff so it feeds on it, if you touch it before it will close up

ok so if it doesnt kill them this time, i'll try again without touching them so they dont retract? And just squirt it at them?

Also, can you put vinegar straight in the tank without it doing anything negative? If this stuff doesnt work, i'll throw the needle back on and stick it w/white vinegar.

thanks everyone

is there anyway you can get the rock out of the tank
my tank is very tall and i only got one Aptasia with it in the tank so i got my spare 10g tank and put the rock in there and waited a few mins till the Aptasia came out and hit it very quick with the needle and them push out the stuff out of the syringe this method worked best for me good luck

Hey sir dude. The syringe will work and lime juice or high calcium solition in there works great. Mouth is best but anywere you can put it works. The best is to take it out if possible break off frag and remove .I recieved some on a frag and freaked. GL
