feather duster...or coco worm?

Is there a way to tell the difference between some of these. I have a few red things that appear to be some sort of feather duster, but they look like a smaller version of the cocoa worm I have. I will go get a picture too.

There are many versions of dusters as to the differance im not sure but i think size matters and coco worms are larger and multi layers of collecters and are found in a specific region. And i think the more attractive filter feeders. A link to one below.Look toward the bottom of the page there are two.
