Very nice looking tank!
How long has it been setup? Where'd you get most of your corals from? I also see you're from w-loo! Always nice to see more locals aboard! Keep an eye on the board here there should be a posting in the near future about this years schedule of events. If you ever have any questions or need any help with anything feel free to ask, there are some good members in the area that I'm sure would be more than willing to help out!

My tank has been running now for almost 3 months.
I got my shrooms from Emporium Pets here in Waterloo. I got my Starburst polyps from Pet's Playhouse in Cedar Rapids. Then the xiena and waving hand coral I got in Coralville at Coralville Bay. I'm looking for some frags if any of you guys have any. |

I bet you would be cheaper then emporiums. Have you been to there new store? They don't have anything for corals but every once and awhile they will get something decint.
As far as the corals I think I would be interested in the Kenya Tree and the zoas. What kind of zoas are they? Do you have any pics? Shoot me a price and I will get back to you. Thanks. |

Nice nano Big Blue! My hats off to you for keeping a nano. I have a 14 gallon BC also but it's harder to maintain than my other tank. I just need to automate it more to make it easier to maintain.
How do you like your Bio Cube so far? If there was anything you could change on it, what would it be?

Thanks Slovan, I like to try to keep it looking its best caues its a real eye catcher when people come over. They just can't belive that you can keep a reef in such a small tank.
I Like my Bio Cube. Everybody told me I was wasting my money starting a nano (because I was a first timer) but honestly I haven't had any trouble with mine. I learned all you have to do is keep up on the water changes, don't over feed and just take your time stocking it. So far eveything is alive and healthy. If I was to change anything about my BC it would be the lights. I really wanted to get a small clame and some SPS but everybody told me that my lights arent bright enough. I thought that kind of sucked. I think thats about all I would change. |

Yeah I was at there store last weekend. WOW! $49 for a 1" kenya tree frag what a joke.
Here's some of the zoas I have that i can frag. I have some ricordia and some yumas as well but not ready to part ways with them just yet. After the frag swap next weekend I may have to do some rearranging though! I hope! I probably have some other stuff I could frag up if you want to swing up sometime shoot me a pm and we can work something out.

Not sure if you're into shrooms because you already have some but I have some red shrooms and some green frilly shrooms as well. I'll see if I can get some pics for you.

Those are some sweet zoas. Shoot me a price I will take some of those off your hands.
Where is the frag swap at? Who is holding this swap? Sorry for all the questions I would like to go to one of these swaps. Where did you get your ricordia and yumas. I can't find them anywhere. Those things look so awsome. What color are yours? |
