Clam against Glass

I got my clam around 5 days ago, he moved around a little and has settled against the glass, he seams pretty happy. When open the mantle gently touches the glass, is this okay or should i move him?

how big is he? i've had a few clams that rested on the side of glass, but have moved them away since they were fairly large (5"). i'd move it to a different location just to be safe. you never know what may happen, he could squirt a jet of water and somehow knock some rocks over.... who knows?
