How long is it safe to turn off Powerhead during feeding?

Like the topic states, how long is it safe for the powerhead to be off during feeding time? My plate coral takes a good 20 minutes to feed, is it ok if there is no flow for that long?

Will water stay oxygenated enough for the fish? Whats the max length it can be off?

Do you have any other filtration on the tank?

Well I have a HOB skimmer which stays on but its not creating any flow really. Just a very little coming through the bottom of the surface skimmer

You'd be fine with having the flow off for 20 minutes, I don't see any problems with it.

When they get shipped to the LFS I doubt they have a battery driven power heads in the bag

Yeah, many distributors pack their stock the night before, and send it out in their trucks to the dealers the next day.

When I feed I have my main pump off for 30 minutes but I keep the powerheads going to circulate the food throughout the tank.
