Tap water to rainse the sand??
I just received the agragonite sugur size sand. If I want to rainse it, can I use tap water to rainse the sand?

NO!
It will absorb whatever phos. or nitrates in tap. Use RO, or don't rinse. Alot of people want the fine dust particles.

If it is live sand you should not rinse it. Fresh water will probably kill a lot of the good stuff.

That is correct, don't rinse. The dust storm will happen but should go away in a couple days.
