anyone with a CPR overflow help me please!

i cant get my cpr overflow to work at maximum flow

it looks like everyone who is able to run their's sucessfully has the water in their overflow box atleast halfway above the prefilter sponge. I can barely get mine past 1/4th of it.

I have a powerhead constantly sucking the air out so air shouldnt be a problem. Can anyone help?

Oh..and is it ok to use vinegar to clean the overflow, there is algae in the inside of the overflow?

How many gph is your pump? You may need to upgrade if you want more flow.

If you still have the sponges in it that might be a reason its slowing down. Take them out you don't need them. You also might want to add some ball valves on the PVC going to your sump. If you have alot of flow open them all the way or not enough you can close them off, this helps to reduce the gurgling noise that happens when you don't get enough flow. Hope this helps.
