pencil urchins eating coral?
I got a nice little finger leather frag at Aquariaums and it was doing really well until I noticed one of my pencil urchins on top of it today. I took it off as soon as I saw it, but it looks like it ate part of it. It was sucked down real small and has opened up some since I removed the urchin, but it looks like part of it is gone. Is it still just sucked down or will they acturally eat it?

I had a pencil urchin in my main tank for over a year, and no fatalities, not including the coraline. Pushed frags over like no tomorrow, but never ate on them.
Mine could have been pure luck, but it wouldn't surprise me if a pencil urchin lunched on some corals. |
