Need Help with Eclipse 6

I just purchased a Eclipse 6 system as a mini reef tank. the lighting that comes with the tank is terrible. its called a T-5 8 w bulb. ive been away from the hobby so i have no idea what that is or where to buy a better one.

i would like to buy a 50/50 to put in it or a retrofit kit to put in 2 lights 1 50/50 and 1 10k. any help is very much appreciated!

thank you

brandon

my advice...take the Eclipse back. I have a 29 gal Eclipse system and I hate it. Actually, I don't hate it all that much now, since I have totally destroyed the integity of the concept...took a dremel to the filtration section, cut parts out of the back of the hood for the skimmer. At this point, the tank itself is good and the black canopy is simply serving as a means to decrease evaporation.

The Eclipse system was a gift, and I feel bad every time I explain to my mom how I've modified the hood to use equipment that actually works

Anyway, I'd just get a regular small tank, find or build a hood, and get some decent DIY power compact lights and a good skimmer.
