Lunar Lights

has anyone ever used these lights and if you have how many per gallon do you have

Also the moon white or nocternal blue better for the lunar lighting

I've got 9 blue and 9 white for my 55 gallon. I don't think either one is necessarily better. The white makes it look more like moonlight. The blues act kind of like actinics and bring out the colors.

I have 4 blues for my 300 gallon and it's very nice.

The tank is still dark, but you can still see things well and it gives everyone inside a chance to rest in the dark. The blue light does make some of the corals "pop" in color like an actinic.

Personally, I avoided the white because it is too much light IMO.

my orbit has 4 white lunars built in and at nice it is beautiful. Plus you can see your critters move at night.
