Bubble Trap

I am wondering if there is any other way to control micro bubbles in the sump besides the 3 piece bubble to trap? Do all skimmers put out micro bubbles? What do these do to the reef tank?

Other than Aesthetics I do not belive micro bubbles cause any damage but you can use a plastic bucket inside the sump as a makeshift bulkhead.
Cut some holes in the bottom of the bucket add some live rock or rock rubble to keep it in place and you are set.
