You should use weld-on 3 or 4, if the acrylic came apart.

since it cam apart, I would use weld-on 16. weld on 3 or 4 are best for new clean joints. 16 is stronger but does not look as nice because it will pool a bit. I have done this several times

no just go to any sign shop that deals with acrylics they should have some pretty cheap usually under 10 bucks. But most of them are not open today.....

I recently fix the neck on my ets reefdevil. It worked well.No leaks.
I used weldon-4 with a long nose aplicator. I was going to put the 16 on as well over it but didnt need to. The aplicator is important for a clean fine tuned fix. Direct from the tube will work but will be a much larger bead and because it actually fuses the acrylic together, i'm not sure you want to use to much. Get a hold of the weldon and you'll be all set. A tube of this stuff will save you hundreds of $. Just let it dry for a full 24hrs if you can before using the skimmer.
