Starting a 55 gal
I am in the process of setting up a 55 gal. Waiting on delivery of my ro/di to start. It will be bare bottom w/ a typhoon skimmer and 2 maxijet1200's. The lights are 260W CF 2-65w 1200k bulbs 2-65W actinics and 4 moonlights. I am going to order a 50lb box of Tonga Live Rock from Dr. Mac to cycle the tank. I would like to have a pair of onyx percs, frogspawn, pulsing xenia, and green star polyps. Is there going to be enough flow and light for these? Any input would be appreciated.

The frogspawn may be a bit borderline, I have found it likes rather intense lighting. I would pay close attention to it and try to keep it near the top. I have had a couple failures trying to get the stuff to thrive under CF in nano tanks.. The xenia and GSP will thrive almost anywhere...
