Larger micron ratings filter more but clog faster. I use 2 100 microns and change them about once a week.

so the higher the micron rating, the more filtering being done? Am I correct on that?

ID needed
My tank has been up for about 3 1/2 weeks. These 2 white things showed up last night. They are about the size of a Q-tip. Does anyone know what they are? Are they safe?
Thanks, |
