da frankenfuter frankenstein skimmer that is....
This is a ultra low jack diy commercial about 6.5' tal 18" dia. pvc....neck and "cup" were salvaged out of a out of business plastic molder...I'm running a beckett recirculatin on a iwaki 100( i know its way to big for one beckett but second and maybe third are to come!) Im feeding maybe 1500gph into it for around a total of about 3000-3200 total flow.. I had trouble adjusting it w ball valve so i got a good spears gate(1.5") uniseals were used on body.... all parts came to be around $80 minus the used pump we had layn around.. this is runnin on a lfs sys. of about 1000gal....thought I'd share this monstrosity!!http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/...41100_1081.jpg |

open an account with photobucket.com
or click on your "gallery" button at the top of each post then use the upload feature. though that will only do smaller pics. so the photobucket is my new fav for pic hosting. when you are done uploading to photobucket you will recieve a url of where the pic is located. cut and paste that using the img feature when you post (not using the quick post feature). or if you are familiar with html you can just type it in by hand "[I M G]xxxx[/I M G]" remove quotes and spaces and place url inplace of xs |

Looks good, do you have, by chance, a step-by-step breakdown of the method and parts you used.
I'm always looking for a good design to try.
