quarantine algae eating snails

hair algae issues in the main tank, need a few snails

but i quarantine anything. my QT doesnt have enough algae in it and i dont want to pull out a rock from my main tank to put in the QT.

will snails eat anything else??? such as dried seaweed/nori???

what kinda snails are you getting? But yes, snails in general eat other stuff. You can even get alga pellets/wafers or whatever they're called to feed them. My snails eat everything that i feed the tank tho.

Yes on the NORI, I feed mine nori once a while...
