Moving twice in short time.
I am trying to figure out what i should do with my setup. In May i will be moving to Houston from Lubbock (8hr drive). So i will have to do a major transfer. The problem is i will be living with my folks while i look for a house to buy. Then when i find the house i will be moving again. So that is 2 moves in probably a 3 month time frame hopefully less. So what should i do?
Should i... 1) do both transfers and hope that everything can handle the stress. 2) sell everything and start from scratch |

Not sure what exactly you have for livestock, but take it from someone who moved ONCE recently. The corals and fish will not be happy after the first move. A second could be disastrous.

Is there any way for you to just move the fish tank first? Like a couple weeks before? It would be a lot of work, but that would give a bigger lapse in time for ya...

I have been thinking about moving the tank before but even if i did that both times, it would mean transfering the livstock into a friends tank. So that would probably be a total of 4 transfers and one 8 hr drive. It might work out alright but not sure.
