flat worm questt...

this is prob a stupid question since ive been in the hoobby for a while now... but can someone explain a flat worm and the seriousness of it..

It depends on the kind. There are harmless little pod eaters which are never a problem, then there are the others that can overpopulate and litterly smother corals if they get that extream. Then there are others that can get very large and eat larger creatures in your system.
They vary in size and color, which kind are you concerned with?

idnk im just courious in general bc i heard of them and i noticed some pple break into a panic and since i have a reef i was courious if i should worry... thnkss for the reply thoughh

I see. Its good to wonder about our little pests :-) New frags I normally do a dip with Flat Worm Exit to take care of any possible flatworms. Then I do a dip with iodine for pathogens and to help with any possible infections and a good rinse with tank wate after both dips. In the future Im going to start a red bug dip also. IMO its much easier to get the trouble makers before they get into the main system.

pkk thnkss i dunt have any like acro frags yet i havent upgraded my lights but im goin to in a month or so there on backorder so once they come in nd i purchasde more coralss ill b sure to do that
