Coral excretion

Ive noticed that my LPS coral have a tendancy to release brown, slimy looking stuff from their mouths. Ive always assumed this is excrement, but I thought I would ask just to make sure. Also, the fish eat this stuff, and recently ive noticed my damselfish will sometimes pick at the coral when they are releasing this stuff...

Yes, it's just waste. The release of Zooxanthallae algae looks similar, but you would know the difference now that you've seen waste.

My cleaner shrimp goes nuts over the LPS poop. I'm always afraid it's going to poke holes in my bubble coral cause it gets all over it when it goes...
