Co2?
Pardon my ignorance, but I was wondering: Exactly what do people use CO2 for on their tanks? Near as I can tell it's for live plants but I'm not sure. Thanks!!

They use it to "melt" calcium media which supply alkalinity and calcium for growing corals. Some people in the macroalgae forum also use it as a direct dose for their macroalgae. But the most common is in a calcium reactor.
I use it to make my voice squeeky! Just like helium. No j/k dont try it may harm u.

Its a good idea to have a refrence sample for alk test kits. 1.1350 grams of baking soda in 1gallon of distilled water=10dkh. Check your alkalinity test kit! Algae is Mother Natures phosphate remover Current Tank Info: 220 galon mixed reef. |
