Help me please!!!!

We recently set up a 55 gallon salt water aquarium. It is a cornerflow tank. Im not sure how to explain this but it's almost like my water is regirgitating. back behind the black cover (no show for the pvc tubes that go down to the sump.) it sucks the water down approx. 4 inchs then refills. it's been doing this for two days now. It's very noisy and add's alot of air to my tank.
Any suggestions.
thanks.

sounds like your durso (overflow pipe) needs some fine-tuning. As for the bubbles? that might not be related... Let's see what other folks say, but it seems as if you've got a siphon forming in your stand-pipe.
