R/O water temps ?
Hi, my first post, just starting out and having fun, with 95 gal reef setup
I have a 40 gallon holding tank of R/O water that when needed I Pump upstairs to my tank. Should this water be heated when i do my 20-30 gallon water changes. And does R/O water go bad if not used in a few weeks. Thanks, Steelhant |

To Reef Central if you use it for your tank keep it around the same temp as the tank. the water will stay good if their is a tight lid on it so dust particals can't get in. great to see your starting off using ro water, good choice |

the temp should be the same/heated. if you circulate the water it will last longer, via air line or powerhead. a coulpe of weeks is fine since there are no additives in it, and you keep it covered from dust etc. have a great day!

either that or drip it in. at a drop at a time, room temp won't make a difference.
