Apartment heater malfunctioned!

I have been gone two days only to come home and find that the heater in my apartment malfunctioned and the temp was 100 degrees. Everything is cooked, fish, shrimp, hundreds of starfish!
It seems some snails survied, what does everyone recommend I do?
The water is extremely cloudy...should I tear it down and scrub or let it be?

Thanks,

Dan

I would take out all dead stuff, run carbon and skim the heck out of it.I would do that and a water change and see what happens.Sorry to hear about your problem it must really suck but keep your head up.Scott

I agree with Weaver5. Take out the obviously dead stuff, do water changes and add carbon. See how it looks and tests in 2 weeks.
