Tunze stream causing surging in my overflow
I just got set of Tunze streams over the weekend. I have them set-up on either side of the tank.
The problem is, that I run my skimmer from my drain line, and whenever the pump that pushes water towards that particular overflow comes on, it causes a surge into the skimmer body. Any one have this problem or know of a way to fix it? Please help Jim

Jim,
Are you feeding the entire overflow into your skimmer? I had this same problem when I fed my Deltec off my return. I ended up putting a T and a ballvalve into the line so I could control how much went to the skimmer. The negative was that there was water going unskimmed back into the display.. I ended up throwing an ASM G3 in the sump to skim the water not getting to the deltec. |

Thanks Aquaman.
Mt overflow is T'd off, and there is only a BV on the side that goes into the skimmer. I'm thinking about adding a BV on the other end of the T, but I'm not sure how much it would help. Anyone else have this issue??? Jim
