What are the advantages of running ozone in a quarantine tank?
I appreciate your response

Assuming you have it set up properly such that no ozone is in the actual tank and that you monitor with an orp meter, etc. etc. I would say the advantage is that any parasites that go through the ozone would be killed. The bad thing would be that not all of the parasites would go through the ozone area as some just sinks to the bottom of the tank. But.... maybe enough would be killed off so that the fish could fight off the smaller numbers.

I have seen a shop that runs ozone while monitoring orp and treats with melafix or primflix. They leave in there for 6 weeks. Is this enough and a good procedure?
