Creepy tenticle

I just saw a creepy tentacle drag a hermit crab molt into a hole!

The tentacle was clearish... a bit like an Aiptasia tentacle, but I don’t think it was… just one and pretty long.

Does anyone know what it is? Is it safe? I don’t want it dragging my lil fish in there! *shudders*

(sorry for no photo...too little to capture)

I would say it's a worm. Probably harmless. If it's as small as you indicate, I wouldn't think it could hurt any of your fish.
