What is the best water testing kit?

I just started a 55G tank about two weeks ago. I bought 55 pounds of live rock from foster and smith and now I'm curing it. I did a 60% water change last night and I normally go to the ocean store by my house for testing, but the guy always complains about doing it and I feel he doesnt really do a stand up job on it anymore. I will need to do water testing on my own anyhow so what is the best one on the market. I am going to make a reef tank with lots of corals and about four or five fish. I have about 5 inches of live sand on the bottom as well. I also have a protien skimmer and the magnum filtration system which pumps 150 g an hour. Hopefully this helps everyone understand my tank better. I am new to this hobby as well, if you did not notice.

I prefer Salifert test kits, many folks here do.

Enjoy your new tank, sounds nice.

Morriskind,
Firstly welcome to RC, just keep reading take your time and you will soon be up and running! The main thing I learnt in this hobby is patience.....take it slowly, read on here, buy books, read some more on here. One step at a time.
Anyway back to your question....the best test kits? In my opinion you cant go wrong with Salifert.
Good luck
Steve
