Red Slime Remover
Well, I am unfortunately observing the onset of some cyano growth in my 65 gallon reef. I believe that I've tried all other options of ridding myself of the red slime but it's still growing slowing on one rock and has started to pop up on the back one in one spot. Thus, it would appear that I'm going to have to dose my tank with some sort of red slime remover. So, I look to the experts for recommendations on which slime remover is the best, safest, to use. Any advice on using it? Things I need to look out for when using it, etc.? Thanks in advance for any help.

You mention it's on the back of a couple rocks. Is there a dead spot where detritus is accumulating? I had flow problems that allowed detritus to accumulate. Wherever the detritus settled, I had cyano big and bad. Changed the flow and vacuumed out the detritus and no more cyano.

Actually it's on the back glass and top of one rock in a fairly high flow area. I've increased the flow to the dead spot where it's popping up on the back glass, but no luck as of yet.

Is Boyds easy to use? Any advice for using it? Or just use it per the directions and it's good to go?
