To Starphire or not to starphire

So I'm looking into upgrading to a 65 gallon aquarium. It's $90 more bucks for the starphire and I'm wondering if some of you guys who have actually seen the difference in person will tell me if it's worth it or not. Thanks in advance

What's $90 in this hobby? 2-3 frags from the LFS? I'd get it.

I think it matters more if the glass is thicker. That said, since you're waffling, if you don't get it now you will regret it later.

Get the starphire. I would trade for it in a heart beat for 90 bucks.

Thanks for the advice and pics. I'll definitely just wait alittle longer and go starphire. I honestly never realized there was that big of a difference.

I am guessing the ones with blue tape are the starphire ones.

wow, I'm glad you guys posted the pix, that really shows the difference between the Starphire and traditional glass. When I start my 1,000,000 gallon dream tank after winning 4 consecutive Superball lotteries, I'll be sure to use Starphire glass

I really notice the clams coloring through the starphire glass, regular glass doesn't seem to bring out some of the colors.

Have you thought about being a detective. If you had trouble picking up on the original posted sarcasm, i imagine your not going to get mine.

FYI; keep your day job
