If everything tests fine, add some easy ones like a candy.

Everything checks out as far as parameters goes you can add lps and softies. Take you time with SPS my system is 9 weeks old and I just put my first SPS but I placed LPS in it after 4 weeks. Click the red house to see some picture.

It depends on who you ask... Many people would say wait a year to add SPS. I feel that anything inside of 6 months is rushing things.

This is true, many do say waite a year but through my experience you can get away with adding certain SPS. Also My Live Rock came from my 210 so I had season bacteria in my system. I started with 1 SPS just to see how it response. But LPS and Softies, once cycled good, your fine to put them in. Well, most!

It's not just about having good bacteria and cycled live rock though. Even at 3 months you're still going to have dieoff on live rock even when your parameters are all fine, but your tank is still not fully stable despite what a few tests indicate. Also, you're still at risk for the early algae blooms that happen with most newer reef aquariums. You can start adding SPS very early in a tanks life and they may do just fine, but you're taking a lot more risks.

Plus I just realized the OP only asked about LPS, so sorry about the small hijack

what you say is true but this is not my first go around. I have pretty good handle on what I'm doing. I knew the risk when I bought the coral. That's why if you looked at my thread, I stated that I wanted to see how it response.
