sea hare buried in the sand
I have not had much luck with sea hares. My first one disappeared and the second has been buried in the sand for a week. I think it is still alive but am not sure. Is this a common behaviour? It seems to move a bit but not when I am looking.

that seems to be common behavior in some species. In the field I often find them by turning over rocks or running my hand through the sand. Is this only during the day or at night as well?

They can stay buried for a up to a few weeks at a time.
