All Glass Aquarium contact

Anyone know how to contact All Glass or can I just go to a dealer? I bought a new 125 Modern Oak setup about 5 years back but took down my reef about a year ago. It's been sitting in the basement since then. I want to set up a reef again but noticed the top plastic moulding is cracked. I don't know if it was from heat (I had MH lighting) or just from sitting around. I don't want to put water in it without the trim so I need to get a new one. Thanks for any info.

all glass is a pita to get parts from. I had a similiar problem and got no help from them. I ended up repairing my crack in the frame by cutting a piece of acryclic to cover the crack + overlap and using acrylic glue which almost melts them together. Depending on the area thats cracked, the frame isn't really a big part of keeping the tank together. The silicone in the edges and the corners do most of the work.

Pmolan,
I was afraid of that. The tank is a 6 footer and it has 2 cross braces. On further inspection, I saw that it has cracked at each cross brace. The cracks are completely through the frame and seperate from each other about 1/8". I'm guessing that the cross braces really need support. I'm going to try to contact all glass and see what kind of response I get. If I can't get anything from them, I guess I'll try the patch method that you've used. BTW, is it still holding o.k.? Thanks.

You have to go to a petstore that sell AGA tanks and they can order you the parts.. Very easy...

I used it on a 4 ft 110gal, 1 cross brace cracked. That is supposed to keep the front and back from bowing. You'd be suprised how well some epoxy's work, they seem to actually melt the plastics together. As for the brand of glue, im not sure what I used back then, probably something from HD. But its probably been 2 years since I did it and still holding! As for removing the top plastic idea, you need a sharp exacto and alot of patience.

Thanks for the info Pmolan. Sounds like it is holding very well. I'm going to try that if All Glass is a pain in the butt to deal with.

Yea like Nick said you should be able to have your LFS get you one with no problem. Hallides are common to cause this problem.
