lighting options for 72" 150 gallon
hello Everyone,
what are some good lighting options for a 72" 150 gallon tank, it's for a FOWLR with only a few mushrooms. It's currently only 75 gallon which I have too move ( I'm remodeling my basement, so I figured if I have too move the tank, I'm upgrading). I was also in the process of setting up a 30 gallon long for my son, but instead of setting that tank up we figured together we would just upgrade the 75 to a 150. Now that I was setting up the 30 gallon, I had everything for it including a 36" 196 watt light fixture. would anyone suggest putting this light on one side and putting the same light on the other side of the tank, or are there better options for just one light that's not that powerful. I just think a regular strip light wont be enough light, I also dont want too much light eihter. Thanks Gus

do that or get an orbit 72 inch , coralife lunar aqualight light, or T5 72inch fixture -- sun tek or aquactinic...whatever fits your budget

Thank you,
I might just try to find the same light I have, which is a jbj 2 x 96 watt and keep both of them on. Gus

That should work fine for a FOWLR.
