Need to replace the pump and possibly upgrade my Euroreef skimmer

What is the best option for doing this??

its a ES or a CS 8-2...not positive which to be honest

I came across this

http://commerce2.i2net.com/able5stor...ategory_ID=585

Probem with that is I dont need the tools supplied and i believe that is to actually add a second pump which i dont have the room for.........

So i guess im just looking for the best pump option

anyone with experienced input??

thx

Its a complete kit to add an SP4 pump to an older model ER. It includes everything including tools to cut the holes. This would replace the existing pump. I believe the pump is physically larger than the pump you have which requires a hole to be placed higher in the body to line up. You could just get the pump without the kit and install it. If the bottom of the pump and skimmer body dont line up, you could put something under the skimmer to shim it up.

BTW, this is a much better performing pump them what is on there now. iI'd give ER a call and see what they have to say.

cool. thanks sjm, thats what i was wondering

I can enlarge and/or move any holes myself without paying anything, much less almost $100 to make that happen.

Anyone happen to know of any better prices on that pump, or is that a fair price??
