cleaner shrimp

recently bought a cleaner shrimp...now what does it eat? haha

mine eats flake food or just about anything i put in the tank, the rest of the time he just picks around the rocks

He'll eat just about anything you put in the tank. I never directly fed mine, because he'd steal food from everyone else, especially my anemone and LPS corals. That's why I ended up getting rid of him. But the short story is, they're very efficient scavengers, so I wouldn't worry about feeding him anything in particular.

same as "scrmbld33" however you should do research on everything "before" you purchase if you want to ever have sucess in this hobby.

Mine eats anything. Flakes, mysis, whatever. Very low maintanence.

i target feed mine about 10 seconds before i feed my red carpet nem..
just reach down and hand him the head of the silverside that i dont feed to my nem.. he picks at it while the nem eats.. drops the head and the hermits get it.
