How to quiet down the drain lines?

It is either the mag 12 or the drains making a lot of noise. I even put the vibration pad under the mag 12 that it comes with but there's still a good amount there. Anyone know how to make the tank more quiet?

You may just have to dial down the flow on the return of the pump with a ball valve. This will lower the noice of the whole system but also slow the flow rate. I would slow the flow rate down to about 5 or 6 times tank turn over, then use your power heads for desired flow rates inside the tank as these are noisless.
