When preparing for water changes, anybody has an approx ratio of salt to gal of water? i.e. how many cups of salt to say 10 gal of water to achieve the specific gravity? Thanks

I use 2.5 cups of salt per 5 gallons to start and adjust from there.usualy pretty close I just have to add a little bit to bring it up to 1.024 after it's sat awhile. So thats works out to half a cup per gallon.

Instant Ocean is 1/2 cup per gallon of water. Depends on the salinity you are aiming for though.
