Dosing DT's Phytoplankton helpful?
Hi everyone. I was just wondering about DT's Phytoplankton. See, I have a scooter blenny and I bought him without an established tank so I have barely if not no pods for him to munch on. I heard that if I start dosing the tank with DT's Phytoplankton, I will get more pods. Is this true? What does it do or bring to my system? Thanks.

It is true to an extent. Dosing Phytoplankton (doesn't have to be DT's) is giving food to the various 'pods. With food and ample shelter, the 'pods will reproduce.

I agree, dosing phyto will help increase the pod population. Just don't over dose, as you will polute the water.

dosing DT's has made my pod population skyrocket. only problem with my tank i no body really eats them. and if i feed too much ive noticed that the skimmer pretty much just takes it out.
