Sharing my Aquascaping (pic)
Hey everyone,
i got 50 lbs (close to 100 wet!) of base rock from marcorocks.com and the stuff looks great! I am building a 70 gallon (36x18x25) and like a look of pillars and caves. So this is what i came up with (its bigger than it looks and is only 40 lbs of the rock(dry)): ![]() It in a rubbermaid tub right now curing/being seeded with some nice figi from my current tank. What do you think? THanks!

Looks like nice rock. I know I would have changed the way I aquascaped mine had I looked through some pics here first.

i have plans to buy marco rocks as well, also plan to make two tall pillars and one short pillar. i may be able to get a very nice tabletop peice of LR to go on top.
i also really like the open-ness of the pillars and the caves/holes of the marco rocks!

I like the "coral head" appearance rather than the traditional rock wall. Your rock is very nice.

Thanks everyone!
I hope to have it them in the tank in two weeks (if everything goes as planned), but that all depends on when i get the.....tank! I've been waiting three weeks for it, and its suppose to get here this monday! so cross you fingers, and wish me luck! As far as attaching them together, i cant decide if i want to just use something like aqua-mend or drill the rock and run acrylic rod through it. The rock was pretty stable sitting like it was, so i am leaning towards some grey aqua-mend at the moment, but that can change. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Looks great! There's nothing better than Marcorocks for base rock, imo.
