Can someone please explain to me how the fittings on my RO/DI work?

I just got my new Optima Vision and need to change out some of the hoses, but I can't figure out how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

push in and with a fingernail or flat head screw driver push back on the colar... it will pull right off...
