Question How to feed Hermits and Nassarius sanails?

Well, over the weekend I finally got my first tank inhabitants
7 hermits
10 nassarius snails
and 4 margarita snails
My LFS told me to feed them 1/2 teaspoon of myssis shrimp every to weeks, but they didn't tell he how to give it to them. Ive been just dropping it to the bottom of the tank, but not all nass get some and the hermits are not even interested in it. any suggestions on how should I feed this will be great.
also I have 65 lbs of live rock

Thank you,

don't worry about it; your hermits are going to eat algae off of the LR.

Mysis shrimp huh? sAVE THAT IN THE FREEZER.

If your lighting is good enough the snails will algea thats grown by it. Oh btw dont worry about feeding the hermits- they will find crap around the tank. Add a fish or 2 if you're ready for the clean up crew, AFTER CHECKING WATER PERAM!!!!!!!----

Use the mysis shrip to feed the shrimp.

nassarius will eat copepods and fish and crab poo. the mysis, if not eaten in a day or three will shoot you into another cycle from the nitries, nitrates, and ammonia. Nassarius burrow, might be why you cant find them. i dont feed mine anything, they and the crabs are scavengers, so let em do what they do best.

Margaritas and hermits will feed themselves. I do throw food to my nassarius snails. I dont think they eat algae. Mysis is good sometimes I give mine silversides.

My nassarius love to eat the algea dics that are made for plecos I throw a couple in every weekend where the tangs cant get to them and watch the snails race to get there first. I buy the smaller ones. Oh yeah nassarius will also feed on dead or dying fish which is why I bought mine cause if a fish passes on Id rather them eat than to take half the rock apart to get it out. MY $.02

As far as a fish make sure your paramater are in line and try one out. Make sure its one you want as they are very hard to catch in a tank full of LR.
