very odd question - but important!
This may seem stupid, but I want to ask before I destroy my house!
I have a 90 AGA overflow. The return flex tubing is getting a little dirty, and looks to be in need of cleaning out. Near the pump head especially. If I remove this tube, from the bulkhead, on an overflow tank, when the return pump is off and there is no siphoning going on, will water come flying out of my tank? Does the overflow access kit prevent this? |

the overflow box is sealed.
if the water level is bellow the "teeth" at the top of the overflow box no other water will fill the tunnel. |

there are three spots that bring in water into the overflow. One low, middle and high.
Are you talking about the access kit? Being below that? |

the three intakes are only in the outer portion of the plastic over flow....once its lower than the teeth in the inner, it should stop if properly sealed
