Chiller Q's
I am the proud new owner of an Artica 1/15 hp 900 btu aquarium chiller. It's in, it's installed, it's keeping my tank cool.
I did notice however, that it fluctuates by one degree every ten minutes or so. I checked my heaters and they don't seem to be comming on, but in a ten minute period it climbs to 79, then the chiller kicks on and it comes down to 78. Then the chiller off, climbs to 79. etc, etc. Is this albeit small, but frequent temperature fluctuation dangerous? what do you suppose can be done? Thanks peeps! Andy

bump, Im intrested too, I was thinking of getting the 1/15 for my 40 total gallon system.
Does it really drop the temp 1 degree in 10 minutes!? Do you have yours hooked up to a controller, or are you using the chillers thermostat? If you don't...do. I think the 1 degree fluctuation isn't as bad as other peoples, cause they don't have a chiller

yep, in just ten minutes, and yeah i am relying on the thermostat controller that the artica controller came equipped with.
