Live Rock?

I'm setting up my 30 gallon cube with a little new LR to cure while I wait for the LFS to finish curing a really nice set. The pieces I am curing are really nice and I'm having difficulty figuring which way is up? Is there any particular thing to look for to figure out which is the top of the piece?

I always look for the most colorful side or the most interesting side. I really doesn't matter in the long run because if you ever decide to redo it and flip it over to the white side, later down the road, that will color up with time also.
