tank type

who makes a better product? perfecto or allglass? ......

i was pretty set on purchasing an allglass 120g 48x24x24 reef ready tank until i visited a That Pet Place in lancaster this weekend...
I noticed that perfecto makes a reef ready tank with corner overflows a plus in my mind for stacking rock and was cheaper by fifty$+

I've had both brands last for well over 15 years.

Right now both my display with megaflows and refugium are AGA. I also have a 75 Perfecto, but that was turned into a snake tank when I moved in September.

Personally, I like the perfecto stands better. They are recessed so the tank fits into the stand about a quarter inch. The stands also seem to be a little better made.

fishysteve--- i looked at your gallery---nice tank.....i'm concerned about going with the megaflows due to having issues stacking the rock and geral loos of space when they are in the center of the tank...Did you experence any isue like this?

Thank you, I haven't had any problems stacking the rock. I actually found that the megaflows help hold the rock in place. I upgraded from a 50 gallon breeder tank so I felt like I had quite a lot of room in there to work with. I have never had a tank of my own with corner overflows, but I worked at my LFS for five years part time, and there were tanks there with corner overflows. I felt that in the corner overflows there is not very much room to work if a fish goes down there or a bulkhead starts leaking.
